The Fall of '55 was submitted to Tribeca last week and will be submitted to several more festivals by the end of January.


Two fundraisers have been held so far for The Fall of '55.  Those who attended the event held on 12/2 were treated to a live performance by Grammy Award-winner Randy Coryell.  Another fundraiser will be held next month.


The taped interview that occurred on 11/17 for Viewpoint will air at 9:00 AM this Sunday (11/20) on Channel 7.  It will then repeat a couple of times on their 24/7 news station Channel 28.


Mark Johnson of KTVB (Channel 7) will tape an interview with Louise Luster and a few other guests on Thursday, November 17, for their Viewpoint program on Idaho filmmakers.  The air date and time of that edition of Viewpoint will be posted as soon as they are known.


QTV (Cable One Channel 11) conducted two half-hour long taped interviews with Seth Randal, Alan Virta and Louise Luster on November 10 regarding the documentary, "The Fall of '55".  Those interviews will be shown in two parts: Part One will air at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, November 25 (to be repeated at 9:00 PM on Monday, 11/28), and Part Two will air at 7:00 P.M. on Friday, December 2 (to be repeated at 9:00 PM on Monday, 12/5).


Attending the American Film Market in Santa Monica last week was very rewarding.  Not only were personal meetings held with industry reps in various fields, but it helped kick-start distribution interest in the documentary, "The Fall of '55".  More news will be forthcoming regarding distribution as things progress.

At 7:57 AM on Friday, October 21, 2005, Chris Kelly of KIDO (580 AM) will interview Composer Randy Coryell who wrote the score for the documentary The Fall of '55.


This month we'll be busy formulating our strategy for attending the American Film Market in Santa Monica in early November.

The documentary "Fall of '55" has been submitted to Sundance.  Other festival deadlines coming up for this film are Tribeca and WorldFest-Houston in November, and Seattle in December.
